 Steps to complete in the application process:

1.    Submit a letter of interest and resumé to local school and/or Office of Catholic Schools.

2.    Complete application process and return application, with accompanying forms, i.e., references, etc., to local school and/or Office of Catholic Schools. 

3.     Provide copies of all transcripts. (Note: If you are hired, you will be expected to provide original transcripts.)

4.     Eligible candidates will be scheduled for an interview.

5.      Applications remain on file for one year.

Principal

St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School (Austin, TX)

The Diocese of Austin is seeking qualified candidates to be the next leader of St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School.  With 380 students, St. Dominic Savio (founded 2009) is a co-educational college preparatory school deeply rooted in Catholic values.  We seek a true visionary with a proven history of success in Catholic education, spiritual leadership, curriculum development, and community stewardship.  The successful candidate will begin their duties approximately June 2012.   

Key Responsibilities: Build community; ensure quality instruction of students by integrating Catholic Christian values; provide leadership in curriculum development/management; supervise the instruction of students; evaluate the effectiveness of the learning program; nurture the faith and professional development of both faculty and staff; and manage an effective development/advancement strategy.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Catholic in good standing; commitment to ongoing formation in spiritual leadership, Master’s degree with 18 credit hours in educational administration, leadership, curriculum, instruction and supervision, three years successful teaching experience at a Catholic high school, three years successful experience as a principal at a Catholic high school, successful experience with institutional advancement, and experience with accreditation and long-range planning.

 

Desired Knowledge, skills and abilities: strong organizational/management skills, effective written/verbal communication, demonstrated leadership of staff/public relations, proficiency with leading technology/physical plant operations, and experience with financial management/budget.

Principal

Description:          The Diocese of Austin is seeking qualified candidates to be the next leader of Reicher Catholic High School, located in Waco, Texas.  Reicher is a thriving high school with a rich history in Waco for over 50 years with a current enrollment of approximately 219 students.

The mission of Reicher is to educate each student in spirit, mind and body by fostering personal excellence within the Catholic tradition. Reicher is a co-educational college preparatory school offering a challenging curriculum including honor courses, advanced placement and dual credit. Along with the excellent academic program, Reicher also has many extra-curricular academic, fine arts and athletic student activities.       

The ideal candidate will possess the inspirational leadership and communication skills needed to take charge of this small, academic, athletic and spirit filled high school, located in Waco, Texas, a city in a metropolitan statistical area of approximately 235,000, which is located in central Texas, halfway between Dallas and Austin. Waco is also home to Baylor University, McLennan Community College and Texas State Technical College.

The successful candidate will begin their duties as soon as mid to end of June 2012.

Job Opening - Position of Principal

 

Holy Family Catholic School is seeking applicants for the position of principal beginning the 2012-13 academic year. The school serves approximately two hundred twenty students in a K-3 through Fifth  Grade setting.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate high expectations and foster teamwork and parental/community involvement. S/He is a person who is resourceful, able to multi-task, and dedicated to the spiritual and educational formation of the children. The candidate will be expected to work in close communication and collaboration with the pastor and the Office of Catholic Schools and will be supportive of the overall parish mission.
